1. Eligibility and Account

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Aurise app, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Minimum Age

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). If you are under 18, you must have consent from a parent or legal guardian. Aurise is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately at auriseapp@gmail.com of any unauthorized use or security breach.

Accurate Information

You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information and to keep it updated.

2. Description of Service

Aurise offers wellness and personal development tools that may include:

  • Habit tracking, daily goals, and weekly progress summaries
  • Personal journals and reflections
  • Social and community features (e.g., friends, friend requests, comments or reactions, leaderboards)
  • AI-powered analysis and mentor-style chat to support motivation and self-improvement
  • Ability to upload images for visual or aesthetic insights
  • Badges, levels, challenges, and other gamified elements
  • Notifications and reminders
  • Optional paid subscriptions and/or in-app purchases that unlock premium features

Please note: We may update, add, or remove features from time to time.

3. Important Health, Safety, and Use Disclaimers

No Medical or Professional Advice

Content and features in the App are for general wellness, education, and entertainment only. They are not medical, psychological, legal, or professional advice and are not a substitute for professional care. Do not rely on the App for emergency or safety-critical situations.

Always consult a qualified professional for questions about your health or well-being. If you are in crisis or think you may harm yourself or others, call your local emergency number immediately.

AI Limitations

AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and can reflect limitations or biases. You are solely responsible for your decisions and actions based on information obtained through the Service.

Responsible Use

Use the Service responsibly and in a manner consistent with applicable laws, your health needs, and any guidance from qualified professionals.

4. User Content & Moderation

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Aurise only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You will not use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others, or to violate any applicable laws or regulations.

Prohibited Content

Do not post or share content that is:

  • Illegal or violates applicable laws
  • Infringes intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Depicts or encourages self-harm, hate, harassment, discrimination, or violence
  • Contains sexual content involving minors
  • Pornographic in nature
  • Includes malware or attempts to phish or spam
  • Otherwise violates our community guidelines or these Terms
Content Moderation

We may review, remove, restrict, or disable access to any User Content or accounts that we believe violate these Terms or applicable law. We may also suspend or terminate accounts. You can report concerns or violations via in-app reporting tools (where available) or at auriseapp@gmail.com.

5. Social Features & Messaging

Community Standards

Be respectful in all interactions. Do not bully, harass, impersonate others, or share private information without consent.

Safety Guidelines

Do not arrange in-person meetings or send money based solely on interactions through our app. Exercise caution with people you do not know.

6. AI & Automated Features

Nature of AI Content

AI outputs may be generated automatically based on your inputs and publicly or privately available data sources. They may contain errors. Always validate important information independently.

Limitations for Sensitive Uses

Do not rely on AI for medical emergencies, diagnosis, treatment, legal decisions, or financial planning.

Feedback & Improvement

You may provide feedback on AI features at auriseapp@gmail.com. We may use such feedback for service improvement.

7. Image Uploads & "Aura Looks" Features

Your Rights & Permissions

Only upload images you own or have rights to share. Obtain consent from people who appear in your images.

Image Processing

Uploaded images may be processed by our systems and trusted third-party providers to provide visual insights and related features.

Prohibited Image Content

Do not upload images containing nudity, sexually explicit content, child sexual content, non-consensual imagery, graphic violence, or other prohibited content described above.

8. Subscriptions, In‑App Purchases & Billing

Premium Features

Aurise may offer "Premium" or similar subscriptions and other in-app purchases. Prices, terms, and available features will be shown in the app and may vary by region and currency.

Auto‑Renewal

If you purchase an auto-renewing subscription, it will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Free Trials & Promotions

If offered, free trials convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Eligibility and duration may vary; promotions are subject to change.

Cancellation

iOS: Manage or cancel subscriptions in your iPhone settings: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. Apple manages iOS subscriptions and billing.

Android: Manage or cancel subscriptions in the Google Play Store app: Profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. Google manages Android subscriptions and billing.

Refunds

iOS: Purchases made via Apple's in‑app purchase are billed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple per their policies. See Apple's support site.

Android: Purchases via Google Play are billed by Google. Refunds are handled by Google per their policies. See Google Play Help.

Please note: Aurise does not control or issue refunds for purchases made through Apple or Google.

Changes to Pricing

We may change prices for new purchases at any time. For existing subscriptions, we will notify you of price changes in accordance with platform rules and applicable law. If you do not agree, cancel before the new price takes effect.

9. Virtual Items & Credits

Virtual items (e.g., badges, points) have no monetary value, are non-transferable, and may be modified or discontinued at any time. You do not own virtual items; they are licensed for use within Aurise.

10. Device Permissions & Notifications

To provide core features, the Aurise app may request:

  • Camera access: To capture photos for uploads and analysis you initiate
  • Photo Library access: To select and upload photos you choose
  • Face ID (biometrics) access: To enable secure authentication or quick re‑entry into the App where supported
  • Push Notifications: To send reminders, updates, and relevant alerts

You can manage permissions in device settings. We only use these permissions to deliver related features you initiate or enable.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers, or bypass any access or security measures
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, except as permitted by law
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, networks, or data
  • Misuse reporting, moderation, or support channels

12. Third‑Party Services & Links

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., Apple In‑App Purchases, Google Play Billing, Firebase/analytics, content sharing). We are not responsible for third-party services' content, terms, or practices. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and privacy policies.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share personal information and your rights and choices. Please review it carefully.

Certain data processing (e.g., image uploads, AI analysis) is necessary to provide features you choose to use. Do not upload sensitive data unless necessary for the feature and you understand the risks.

14. Communications & Notifications

By creating an account, you may receive service-related emails, push notifications, or messages (e.g., account alerts, reminders). You can manage certain communications in app settings or device settings. Some service-related communications are required.

15. Data, Network & Device Requirements

Use of the Service requires compatible hardware, software, and internet access. You are responsible for data charges and device maintenance. We do not guarantee the Service will function on all devices or operating system versions.

16. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you violated these Terms or applicable law, or to protect the Service, users, or third parties.

Certain provisions will survive termination, including ownership, licenses, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution.

17. Disclaimers

AURISE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected.

18. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AURISE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS, SUPPLIERS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

19. Platform Terms

If you downloaded the App from Apple App Store or Google Play, your use of the App is also subject to the applicable store’s terms and policies (including Apple Media Services Terms and Google Play Terms). In case of conflict, the store requirements may apply to the extent required by that store.

20. Modifications

Aurise reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of any changes through the app or via email at auriseapp@gmail.com.
